The Nightmare is back!!!

The Nightmare before Christmas is back and in 3d. Your gonna tell yourself why do I wanna shell out ten bucks and see the same movie over in 3d.well Its actually better in 3d or what I could see of it .(Eye is still blurry) I always enjoyed this movie and with all its crazy camera angles it looks great. Night mare didn't make it that well at the box office when it first came out about 10 yrs ago . By the name parents were afraid of taking there kids to this movie .
my children enjoyed it ! We took them to see the midnite showing at the El Capitan theatre in Hollywood . They also had the puppets displayed and it was awesome to hear the old pipe organ playing out haunting tunes .An experience they will never forget.

Beware friday the 13 and Halloween or just have fun!!

Wow! Halloween is just around the corner and friday the 13 is here . Looking back on friday the 13 ive had some good ones and of Halloween.
Friday the 13 a couple yrs ago i attempted to film my own movie . It was quite fun i was going to school at the time and outa work..what else is new? It gave me more drive to get this project done . To tell you the truth my budget for the film was a dollar I couldnt even buy a drink at my favorite dive bar the Star lounge in Ventura which I was shooting in. needless to say i got a A in the project and i accepted the challenge and completed it . My movie Into Darkness a movie about local vampires. Which i soon to be writing up to a comic book.

When i was a kid i used to wait for Halloween to come around and still do .. It was great times , it wasnt like the rest of the Holidays . It didnt have the materialism of Christmas nor the Norman Rockwellness of Thanks Giving. It was just a part of chilhood i couldnt forget . Through the year i would draw monsters on my books and papers just waiting and figuring out what to wear for Halloween. Something i dredded not having a cool costume to wear. Halloween ment imagination being something you werent,Except on this certian day and night and we went visiting neighbors houses people you dont even talk to all year to collect those candies. Spending time with my brothers and going to those houses and just having fun. We used to decorate our house a bit paper pumkins we drew at school or skeletons we had in storage.And cant forget those jack-o-lanterns we carved . We would come back from tricks or treats and my dad would make dummies and decorate the house with Christmas lights, it was always a suprise .Those days are gone . I still dress up and enjoy Halloween with my family. But my most cherished moment was taking my first born daughter at the age of 2 and placing her on a door step. knocking on the door for her and listening to her little voice saying "Trick or Treat!".

I was contactted by a friend to draw up a poster for his Halloween party .For this one i had to go back to my high school yearbook, Didnt we all look dead back then???

Making Halloween!!

Halloween is almost here!!!Just been taking care of stuff here.. Also been taking it easy... too much to explain to understand more see Eye of the beholder on my my space page.
Also to keep from getting cabin fever here at the house .(Don't worry my wife has hid all the fire axes here in the condo And keeps Asking me why I want Red Rum!! LOL!!)But my choice of weapon, Pencil and Ink and been getting back to basics also with sculpting. Above is a piece I worked on.. Enjoy!!
